Testimonials

“I was nervous about starting therapy, but Charlotte made me feel at ease right away. She really listened, without jumping in or trying to problem solve. Having the space to talk honestly, without worrying about being judged, was huge for me. I feel more like myself again.” CM

"The change in my daughter since she started working with Charlotte has been incredible. She had been very reluctant to talk with anyone, but Charlotte found a natural and respectful way to connect with her. My daughter now looks forward to her sessions and say she feels properly listened to. As a parent, it’s incredibly reassuring to know they have someone like Charlotte supporting them." LT

"After losing someone very close to me, I felt completely lost and overwhelmed. I didn’t know how to cope or even how to talk about what I was feeling. Charlotte listened, understood, and helped me make sense of the waves of emotions I was going through. Over time, I’ve found a bit of peace and a way to carry my grief without it consuming me. I’m so grateful for Charlotte’s kindness and support during such a painful time." SY

Why Counselling?

Counselling is a confidential space just for you—a place where you can talk openly about whatever’s on your mind, without fear of being judged or told what to do.

I believe that you are the expert on your life and the unique experiences which make you an individual, so I will not give advice or attempt to ‘fix things’ - but I will walk alongside you as you explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. No matter what is shared, you will be met with empathy, patience and without judgement.

You set the pace. You decide what you want to talk about, and we go from there. Some people come to counselling with something specific they want to work through—like anxiety, grief, or relationship issues—while others just feel a bit stuck or overwhelmed and need a space to figure things out.

Everything we talk about is confidential, and the space is yours to use however you need. Sometimes it’s emotional, sometimes it’s reflective, and sometimes it’s just about being heard.

At the heart of counselling is about helping you feel more in control, more understood, and more connected to yourself.
